I adopted Chloe from the Animal Humane Society last January. She was an owner surrender who had lived with the family since she was a kitten.
At the time of the adoption, I wasn't aware that she had 2 other cat companions in the home, and only found out a couple months afterwards when I inquired about why she was still exhibiting characteristics of being lonely. I live alone with no other pets in my house, and have come to the conclusion that she would probably be much happier in a home where she could get more attention then I'm able to give her. I believe she would also enjoy having a cat companion based on her previous experience in her last home
Chloe isn't a lap cat, but she is social, usually staying in the same room that I'm in. She will be 6 in January, but still has a lot of energy and enjoys a lot of playtime.
