My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Asuka Langley — Sweet, Playful, and Full of Heart

Asuka Langley (Or just Asuka, for short) is a very sweet and playful young girl who loves nothing more than snuggling in bed and chasing her laser toy to her heart’s content. She’s a curious kitty with a gentle spirit, and she would do best in a quieter home environment that encourages her curiosity and allows her to explore at her own pace. Asuka’s favorite activities include chasing her laser pointer, listening to lofi girl relaxing beats on YouTube, and batting at her feather wand toy or laser pointer—she absolutely loves them and could play with them for hours!

When Asuka first arrived at her foster home, she was very sick and incredibly skinny. But with love, care, and stability, she blossomed into a healthy, happy, kitty who is now a bottomless-pit for food! This spunky girl is now a total spitfire. She’s such a fun, lively companion to have around and has really embraced the good life. While she’s wonderfully affectionate, she also appreciates her independence and will let you know—in the sweetest ways—when she’s ready for cuddles or ready to explore on her own.

Asuka has met several humans, including her foster mom’s boyfriend (she LOVES him!), and she has done very well with the people she's met. Her ideal home would be a calm, peaceful environment with no other pets. She would be happiest as the sole center of your attention! She actively seeks out snuggles and playtime, loves attention, and frequently initiates affection, though she also enjoys having quiet time and space to herself. She’s the perfect mix of cuddly companion and independent explorer.

Asuka’s journey is a remarkable one. FFF rescued her from the euthanasia list at CACC just in the nick of time. We don’t know her full history, but based on her condition when she arrived, it’s clear she came from harsh circumstances and was struggling emotionally and physically in the stressful shelter environment. Once she arrived at her foster home, it took only a few days for her true personality to shine through—she became sweet, playful, expressive, and full of gratitude for her second chance.

If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate kitty who enjoys playtime just as much as snuggles, Asuka may be your perfect match. She’s a joyful, wonderful girl who will bring warmth, fun, and lots of love into your home!

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
