Sex/DOB/Weight: Male / DOB 12/07/2022 / 70lbs but is working on slimming down
Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives
House trained/Crate Trained: Yes/Yes
Dogs/Cats/Children: Loves to play with dogs of similar size/energy level and does well with supervised play around cats. Can be tested with children upon request.
Energy Level: Medium
Before FAR/My History: I was adopted out as a FAR puppy, but through no fault of my own I was returned in September 2025.
Training Status/Commands I know: Sit, Touch the open hand to get a treat/food instead of leaping for the food
Working on: Everything, I am trying to learn a lot in my foster home.
Things I like: Playtime and human interaction! I love to be with my human to do anything, and I love playing with my foster siblings.
Things I don’t like: I don’t like to be left out. I loved my former owners and spent a lot of time with them, so transitioning to foster care has made me anxious when my human leaves.
Things that make my humans happy: My affectionate personality. I love to love on my humans and I love to be loved on.
Ideal Family/Home: I would do best with an owner who could spend a lot of time with me. I did not have canine siblings at my former home, but I am thriving with my foster siblings so another dog in the home would be ideal.

Our adoption process starts with the potential adopter filling out an adoption application. In the application, you can specify a particular dog in which you are interested, or let us know what type of pet in which you are looking, so we can find the perfect animal to fit your family and your needs. Once the application is received, a board member will review the application, and make contact with the potential adopter within 48 hours. This initial contact may include further questions/more information, or may include scheduling a meet and greet for you to meet the animal in which you are interested! Once the application is approved or the meet and greet goes well, then the adoption can be finalized. To finalize the adoption, an adoption agreement must be completed, the adoption fee paid (we accept cash, paypal, or credit/debit card), and then the potential adopter can take their new family member home with them or schedule pick up of their furry family member! The adoption fee varies based on the dog or puppy you are interested in. Some of the adoption fees have been listed on the individual dog's description but if you do not see one then please reach out and we would be happy to talk to you about it! If you are interested in any of our animals, please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!!

More about this rescue
Furever After Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, is a no-kill, foster-based rescue devoted to finding homes for animals needing a loving home. Most of our animals come from local, high-kill shelters with some occasionally coming from bad situations and owner surrender. Our animals are immediately placed in foster homes where they learn love and are taught how to live in a home environment. All of our animals are up-to-date on their age-appropriate vetting needs and are tested for personality traits as best as possible. We have many wonderful pets looking for forever homes!
