My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we adopted Bodey he was a rescue from the Nebraska Human Society. He was abused by a man who strangled and threw him against the wall. Bodey, is a smart dog. He doesn’t like to be petted unless he approaches you. Bodey, can’t be groomed unless he is sedated or medicated. Bodey, does have a history of biting and nipping animals, kids, and adults. He growls when he feels threatened or anxious. I recommend a single person, or a couple that is experienced with abusive rescue dogs. I don’t recommend families with children. Bodey can’t be kenneled right away. It’s a trigger for him. When he becomes comfortable, the kennel can be his safe place. It’s been recommended that with medication it would help with his anxiety and his aggression. I think Bodey would be a great dog for someone who is willing to do the work and okay with medicating dogs.
