Jam is a total jock jam — a fun-loving, energetic boy who brings the party everywhere he goes! He could chase tennis balls or soccer balls all day, and he does it with the biggest smile and the happiest wiggle. This boy is full of bright, upbeat energy, and he’d love a family who enjoys daily walks and active playtime. Jam is also a huge fan of treats and anything with a squeaker—those are his absolute favorites. All shelter locations are conducting animal viewing and adoptions on a first come, first serve basis. We are not able to move a pet from one location to another for your viewing.
The adoption fee is waived for all available pets in care and in foster homes. Standard adoption practices will still be in place, including background checks.

The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department (AWD) expanded the shelter days of service to seven days a week with operational hours of 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and pet viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m for both the east and west side shelter locations.
