Blind

Jelly – A Sweet, Blind Calico Looking for Her Forever Lap

Jelly is a beautiful calico kitty she 1 1/2 with a heart full of love. As a baby, she survived an eye infection that left scarring and impaired vision. She’s fully healed now, but because she can’t see clearly—only shapes & movements—new places can feel scary at first. She just needs a gentle, patient adopter who will give her time to settle in at her own pace.

Once Jelly feels safe, her true personality blossoms. She becomes wonderfully affectionate, seeks out laps, and gives the softest purrs. She loves being petted, enjoys her toys, and is very food-motivated. Her foster mom describes her as  “the easiest cat to care for!”  Jelly happily climbs into her lap on her own, sleeps beside her every night, and politely entertains herself in the morning until she hears you waking up—then greets you with the sweetest, quiet meow.

✨  Jelly’s Foster Mom Says:
“She’s really delightful. Beautiful fur—so soft and colorful. My sweet JellyBelly.”

  Special Needs & Safety
Because of her limited vision, Jelly needs a home with a few simple safety accommodations:

  • Block off high stairs or railings
  • Use lower cat trees and avoid tall perches
  • A calm environment and patient introduction period

Once settled, Jelly is a gentle, loving companion who adores being close to her person.

If you’re ready to open your heart to a special kitty who will reward you with endless affection,

jelly is fully litter box trained, up-to-date on vaccines, micro chipped, negative for FIV/FELV treated for fleas, healthy and happy.apply to meet Jelly today . www.dreamar.org She can’t wait to find her forever lap.

More about this rescue

My name is Jonnie and this is my lifelong DREAM. I have gathered a group of fosters & volunteers to help aid in my rescue of our furry friends! We are a group of individuals with a common bond, a love of animals and especially cats. We pull cats & kittens and sometimes dogs from OC and LA county shelters. We give these abandoned animals the healthcare they need and the love they deserve and help them find families to love! We are a federally recognized 501c3 and any monetary donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible!
