Meet Baby, a spunky little 5-year-old shadow who wants nothing more than to be wherever you are!

She trots happily from room to room, always checking in, always ready for the next cuddle session on the couch or to curl up beside you in bed. In her foster home, Baby joyfully runs to greet newcomers with her whole heart leading the way. She’s friendly with other dogs but prefers canine friends who respect her personal space and her gentle boundaries.

Sweet, loyal, and full of personality, Baby is the perfect mix of affectionate sidekick and independent queen—ready to bring warmth and joy to her forever home. I am in foster care, please email acsoutreach@bernco.gov to meet me!

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Tuesday-Saturday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait!

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have a pet in mind that you would like to meet, one of our staff members will assist with an introduction.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once a proper match is found, our pets are usually able to go home same day (so make sure to prep your home!)

4.
Take the Pet Home

Our adoption fees are donation based, meaning you can "name your own price". All donations go to supporting animal programs.

Please note that all adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait! If you see an animal online you’re interested in adopting, note the animal’s name and A# and visit our resource center Tuesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. We are located at 3001 2nd St. SW in the South Valley. Our friendly staff and volunteers are here to assist you and answer any questions.
