Josie is a sweet, nine month old German Shorthaired Pointer mix-loving pup who adores kids and wants nothing more than to be near her humans. She has a laid-back personality but still enjoys playtime, especially with toys, bones, and anything chewable. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite!
Josie is doing well with her house training. Josie walks nicely on a leash. Josie enjoys playing with her foster dog roommate, though she can be dog-selective and may need slow, thoughtful introductions. She’s shown no aggression—just a desire to set boundaries.
Still new to foster life, Josie is quickly proving to be a gentle, affectionate girl who will make a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing pup who loves attention, Josie might be the perfect match!

Submitting an adoption application is free and is the best way to show that you are interested in a specific pet!

Interview
An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 72 hours to set up an interview and go over your application

Approve Application
Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.
The adoption donation amount of $550 is refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
