My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudi is 10 years old: we’ve had him since he was a puppy. He’s always been such a cuddle bug: he loves creature comforts and is very food motivated. He also loves being outside and hanging out while we do yard work, going exploring etc. He has great name recall and would make an excellent farm dog.

He has had 2 aggressive episodes. A few years ago, he was resource guarding both a blanket and the couch and my friend went to give him a kiss on the snout and he bit her. She didn’t pick up his warning cues and he has since lost couch privileges and we’ve gotten rid of the blanket. He also nipped at my dad’s hand when he reached down to pet him at the table last year. I don’t have all the details surrounding this incident.

We’re devastated to rehome him but we have a baby who has just become mobile and we’re too afraid that something could happen. We’ve quarantined him most of the day and it’s degraded his quality of life.

We want him to be somewhere he can be happy and fulfilled.
