Chokladbiskvi (AKA Layla) comes with a sweet personality. It has become apparent that she is extremely smart. She has been working on training and learned to sit from day one. Currently, she is learning to stay. She is people oriented and loves her morning hugs. You will become her best buddy if you provided her with an ice cube to chew on or scramble across the floor. That’s the simple pleasure in her life. The day after arriving at her foster mom’s house at 12 weeks of age she was introduced to the doggie door and immediately trained herself. She is about 95 percent potty trained and when taken outside before going to bed she knows to use the command, “go potty”. She and her sister came to the rescue together. Immediately, it was apparent that she had a trauma to one of her eyes and may be visually impaired in that eye. Luckily, that does not stop her from seeing and gets around with no issues and has full sight in her other eye. She will make a great hiking partner that will be right by your side or a lovely member of your family. If you want a sweetheart of a girl, this one is for you. She’s a family favorite.
She is in a foster home, if you are interested in meeting her please submit an application on our website and/or email adopt@souldog.org with any questions.

More about this shelter
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
