Bubba Gump Shrimp is the most adorable little pirate kitty ever and he's ready to find his treasure, a forever home! Born in foster care, Bubba Gump Shrimp was born into a big litter of 5 kitties! Bubba is one of the bigger kitties in the crew, looking very similar to his brother, Chuck E Cheese although Bubba has swirls instead of stripes in his coat. Bubba Gump Shrimp is so playful and sweet, found often chasing mouse toys across the floor and scratching and climbing the cat tree. He also loves a cuddle puddle, snuggling into a kitty bed with his sibs. He is happy to be picked up and cuddled with as he's been raised in foster care with lots of handling. Our favorite time of day is when he falls asleep in our laps while we watch TV.
Bubba is unique because he was born with missing eyelids (eyelid agnesis), which led to his pirate status. Thankfully his remaining eye has been well managed with daily eye ointment to keep his eye moist. The eye ointment is OTC and does not require a prescription (available at Walmart, Amazon etc, ~$12). Beyond that, he is just a normal kitten who loves to run, play, wrestle, and snuggle!
Bubba Gump Shrimp's ideal home would be with his brother, Chuck E Cheese, as they are the last two left from this litter. However, he is super duper friendly with other cats and would be a great pal to an existing resident kitty who wants a friend. He has done well meeting kiddos in foster care and would likely also do well with a cat friendly dog if introduced properly. He is super confident, sweet, and loving. He may be a special dude, but that's what makes him so easy to love. You could not ask for a more friendly and social cat! Who doesn't want a little pirate pal?? Please apply for Bubba today!
