Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***APPLICATIONS CLOSED***
Hi there, my name is Dolly and I am a four-year-old cocker spaniel girl. Up until now my life kind of sucked being a working mom doing 9 to 5 as a puppy mill breeding dog. I was super happy to retire from there and go hang out at this new house with lots of kids, a dog and two big people who won me over by feeding me rotisserie chicken!
After some much needed TLC and a really nice grooming session, I look like a million bucks and my feet feel like brand new.
I sleep on the main floor in my kennel at night just fine as there's a big comfy blanket in there that keeps me happy. I have been good about not pooping or peeing in the house and go down into the backyard to do my business every 4 to 6 hours. My foster house has three kids in it that I really like as long as they aren't running around like crazy people screaming. I let everybody pet me and I'm happy to take rotisserie chicken from anybody who offers it. I like the other dog in my house and I like to follow him around the backyard.
I eat a cup of dry food twice a day and, so far, I've been living the good life ever since I got here. I would do best in a house with another like-minded dog who enjoys a comfy couch and a person to lay beside that would scratch my head and ears. I do pretty good on leash even though I have never been on one until about a week ago. So, I do need a little bit of work there, but I don't bark and I don't whine. My foster house has never heard me make a peep other than to lightly growl at my foster brother when he tries to take too much of my mom's time and lap space, but it was all talk and I've stopped doing that now and enjoy my foster brother dog. So, if you're looking for a chill, quiet, couch potato for a pet that just wants to snuggle, then I'm your girl!!!!

We rescue mainly Bulldogs and other flat faced dogs!!!! We love the breeds and know they sometimes need extra care and love. Before you consider any of these breeds you should get familiar with the terms; cherry eye, entropian, dry eye, heat stroke, bloat, cruciate and know that sometimes these breeds can develop or have these issues. Also remember they drool, snore, pass gas and breath heavy this is not for everyone, but for us it is normal!
