Casey is a 6-year-old Rat Terrier with a big personality. Due to my own health issues, Im no longer able to give her the level of care and activity she deserves, so searching for an experienced and responsible adopter who can offer her a safe, stable, and loving home.
Casey is energetic, playful, and loves being around people. She’s the kind of dog who lights up when she gets attention. She can be hyper at times, especially when excited, but she settles down nicely once she’s burned off some energy.
She does best as an only dog or with a male dog.
Casey is what I would describe as a flight risk. She’s clever, agile, and has been known to take herself on adventures if she finds an opening. Because of this, a secure, fenced-in backyard is strongly recommended, and her adopter should be comfortable managing a dog who likes to explore.
