Hi, I’m Calvin! I’m a brown and white tabby with a soft coat and a sweet personality. I was rescued from Logan Square by a kind TNR partner, and now I’m looking for my forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
I’m a friendly guy who loves pets and brushing—purrs guaranteed! I’m still getting used to all the sounds and bustle of the adoption center, but I’m curious and excited to meet the humans who will take the time to get to know me.
Food is definitely one of my favorite things (churu treats are the best!), and I love spending quiet moments just enjoying attention and affection. I’m a sweet boy with lots of love to give, and I’m ready to find a patient, caring home where I can truly settle in. Could that be you?

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
