My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is a very sweet mixed dog. We believe she is part German Shepard. She was a rescue; we found her 2.5 years ago living in a graveyard and adopted her. From what we know, she was dumped near the graveyard by her apparent previous owner. She is very attached to our other dog (GSD), but does not get along with other dogs.

Behavioral issues: minor nipping (only occasional & what we believe to be in play), crying every time our babies cry, escaping from her kennel/jumping fences, aggression towards other dogs (it seems out of protection of the other dog), and digging in the yard. Very skittish and timid.

Positive traits include: very sweet and cuddly, loves being pet and sitting in your lap, responds to basic commands, not a big barker, pretty good on a leash (minimal pulling), generally is good with guests

Ellie needs a quiet, child-free home where she can be prioritized. She has had issues from her previous owner (was likely abused) that we do not have the resources to fix.
