My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

**If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**

Meet 1.5 yr old Toby. He is a low rider with a big loveable personality. He spent 18 months in a rural pound after being found as a stray at just about 6 months old. His foster mom saw something special in him and wanted to get this boy ready to live the good life in a home with a family. Toby is housebroken & crate trained. He was found to be heartworm positive the rescue took care  of that and he has completed his treatment. He has been working hard on leash skills and teamed up with his foster mom’s  grand pup to get it done.  Toby can be a little shy when 1st meeting people so we go with a slow approach to introduce him, but then he's a huggable, snuggable love bug. Toby does well with other dogs and we are not sure yet on cats. He does ok with considerate kids that have some dog experience. Toby is a pretty quiet boy that just loves to be with his human companions and be loved. He is motivated by treats and willing to learn all he can and he loves rides in the car.  Toby is hoping to find his family that will help him increase his socialization skills and  give him the love of a family he deserves so much. Are you that family willing to give him that chance he's been dreaming of.

Toby’s adoption fee is $400.00  This includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip and completed vetting.  .

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
