I am an incredibly affectionate, mellow guy looking for a quiet home with some patient people who will let me flop on their chests and purr. I’m pretty shy, but once I learn you’re a safe human, you won’t find a snugglier lap cat.
I am a Netflix-and-Chill kitty, preferring a mellow, lowkey life. I am a total couch potato!! I love to play with springs, wands, poof balls and the laser pen, and will chirp as I carry my favorite toys around the house. I make up cute games and am often seen playing with myself. I love cave beds, but my favorite cat bed is my foster mom’s chest. I love to get pets and flop onto her purring and purring and making gentle little air biscuits in delight. Chin scritches, low back scritches and arm pit scritches are my favorite. I love love love churu and greenies kitty treats and am very food motivated.
I was born with pectus excavatem and had surgery to correct it. This means I have a thin metal plate in my chest bracing my sternum into a more natural position so my lungs can expand. The surgery was a success and I’m breathing perfectly now! I’ll have the chest plate for life! Vets say I will likely have zero issues from the plate, but it is something to note.
Macavity will need to be adopted into a quiet home with no kids under 12 and no dogs. Owners will need to let him come to them, offer lots of treats and churu to gain his affection, and avoid chasing or cornering him. Macavity will do best being a bigger fish in a smaller pond, but would enjoy having a kitty buddy or two of any age.
