My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jada! 💖
This tiny 9.5-pound girl is about 3.5 years old, and she’s as gentle as they come. Jada was surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her, and you can tell she’s still trying to understand all the changes in her world.

At the rescue, she’s on the shy side—but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. Jada loves soft snuggles, quiet company, and being close to her person. She does fine with other dogs, but she’s definitely more people-focused and happiest curled up with someone she trusts.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who just needs a soft place to land, Jada would be so grateful to be your little shadow.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
