Norman Barkwell was found in South LA last month. He's now microchipped, neutered, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Norm loves to play, cuddle, and go on walks. He's not potty-trained yet, but can sleep through the night (ideally on your bed)! He's good with other dogs and rarely barks at strangers. He's still adjusting to home life and needs an experienced dog owner who can give him the love and support to train him out of his trauma! Most of the time, he loves to be held, but if you try to physically put him inside his crate, accidentally step on him, or pick him up when he does not want to, he will growl and try to bite! With time and training, Norm can learn to not react with aggression. The majority of the day he sleeps on my lap or at my feet, sometimes plays with my other dog, and goes on walks. He would be great in a home with experienced dog owners who can train him and give the time and love he deserves! It also doesn't hurt he's that cute and looks great in tiny sweaters!
