My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake and Artemis are an irresistible duo looking for a forever home—together!

Jake is a total lovebug with a bold, friendly personality. He happily follows his foster mom from room to room, rubs against legs, and never misses a chance to hop into a warm lap. Fearless, charming, and endlessly affectionate, Jake makes friends with everyone he meets.

Artemis is his purr-fect counterpart. She’s a bit more reserved at first, preferring to watch and assess before jumping in, but once comfortable she shows her playful, fun-loving side. With her stunning medium marble tabby coat, she enjoys pets, tolerates being picked up, and brings a confident, independent spirit to the pair.

Together, Jake and Artemis are pure joy—chasing toys, wrestling, exploring, and keeping each other (and you!) entertained. They balance each other beautifully and will fill your home with laughter, energy, and heart-melting moments.

Additional adoption info

We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees, which range from $165-$185, include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter, etc); home visits may be required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in cage-free private foster homes; therefore, we request an application be completed before setting up appointments to meet them. Request an application by emailing us through our website. Adopters must live within a reasonable driving distance to No. VA ( maximum 60 minutes); we do not ship/transport our animals.

More about this rescue

We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.
