Penny is a petite, gentle, shiny-black sweetheart with expressive brown eyes and the softest little face you’ve ever seen. She’s currently under 20 lbs, but is expected to grow into a perfect 30–40 lb adult — an ideal medium size for a family dog, adventure buddy, or cuddle companion.

Penny LOVES other dogs and thrives in their company. She enjoys playing, cuddling, and learning from her canine companions. She would do wonderful in a home with another friendly dog, but she also does well being the center of attention.

Their adoption process

1.
Interview

We text/chat about your household and living areas to verify which pet is best for you.

2.
Submit Application

You submit an adoption application.

3.
Meet the Pet

We meet in a public setting, usually a Petsense or PetSmart so you can interact with the pet without too many distractions.

4.
Home Check

If you live nearby, we complete a home check to verify Step 1 is accurate or send in a video from door to yard.

5.
Pay Fee

At this time you pay the adoption fee or deposit to put the animal on hold.

6.
Take the Pet Home

If the animal is ready to go which includes their sterilization then you take the pet home.
