Tulip's been a good dog since we got her from DAS a few years ago and has come a looooong way since we rescued her. She heels on a walk and does not pull, but there are dogs, cats, and squirrels out there that she does not like and she let's everyone know about it. She's been very tolerant of our 5 year old boy who treats her like a stuffy. She has never bit him despite his exuberance. She doesn't like sudden movements (leaves, wind, loud cars) and would really benefit from a calm household. Tulip is more of a cat-dog, and is most comfortable on lap and under a blanket.
