My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Phoenix! This beautiful boy with golden eyes is a lover! He warms up quickly and can't wait to cuddle with you. He also loves to play; the wand toy or balls are his favorite. Though, he also loves a good Temptations treat! Fun fact: Phoenix can walk on a leash and harness! If you're looking for a good travel companion Phoenix is your man!

I am spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV tested. My adoption fee is $50.

He is the sweetest, friendliest kitten, and has definitely settled in and come out of his shell.
He is very food motivated and eats his food and takes his medication no problem.

He is SO playful and is always looking to play; he has developed a bit of a mischievous streak.

We are just loving having Phoenix with us; he is so adorable and has such a strong personality.

The Roanoke Valley SPCA offers adoptions by appointments Tuesday - Saturday between Noon and 7pm. Appointments can be made by calling 540-339-9247. Walk-in's will be offered for the next available appointment. Pets are adopted on a first-come-basis. The Roanoke Valley SPCA has embraced Fear Free Shelters philosophy and are committed to giving each pet in our care a fear free experience while looking for their forever homes. The Fear Free® philosophy is designed to reduce the negative emotional states that are commonly experienced by shelter animals, including fear, anxiety, stress, and frustration. We offer virtual walk thru of available pets on our website and at our shelter. The end result is a happier, healthier new member of your family.

Call 540-339-9247 Monday between 12PM and 6PM or Tuesday - Saturday between 12PM and 7PM to speak with our staff for more information.
