My name is Sage!

Sage is a 6 year old, healthy, chocolate lab. She has had fairly consistent training with us and knows about 10+ commands. She is trustworthy with kids of all ages and loves people, but appreciates having a space to be able to be calm after being around kids for while. She has never been aggressive with other dogs and is playful with most, is a great car traveler, is crate trained if need be but is trustworthy in the house by herself, fully potty trained, a good leash walker but also trustworthy off leash with the right commands/awareness. She has been a great hiker/outdoor dog for us, and she loves the snow. She loves being active, but is pretty mellow if she just gets some kind of regular play or walk. The two traits that have to be managed are that she loves chasing small animals in the yard or on hikes, the other is that she is very food driven so she will steal food off counters or tables. Sage needs a low dose medication to prevent her leaking urine during a deep sleep.
