🌾 Meet Sandy — Your Soft, Snuggly Sidekick 💛

If you’ve been dreaming of a gentle, heart-melting companion who is equal parts snuggle bug and slow-morning enthusiast, allow us to introduce Sandy — the sweetest little soul who has perfected the art of cozy living.

Sandy is a low-to-medium energy girl with a “go with the flow” philosophy. She’s happy to trot along on a nice walk (or two!), especially when the weather is pretty and the smells are smelling. But she’s just as content to curl up afterward for a luxurious nap. (Honestly, naps and snacks are her love language.)

🐾 Leash Queen & Love Sponge.

This girl walks like a dream — no pulling, no barking, no lunging. Just Sandy, strolling politely by your side, ready to greet any friendly human who wants to say hello. Dogs? She’s indifferent. Fine to coexist, maybe play someday, but she’s far more into her people than dog park politics.

And when it comes to affection? Sandy is an Olympic-level cuddler. She wants your warmth, your quiet moments, your movie nights, your heart — all in the softest, sweetest way.

💤 House-Cracked, Crate-Trained, & Calm as Can Be.

Sandy has slotted into home life like she’s been doing it forever. She’s:

✔️ Fully housetrained

✔️ Crate trained and sleeps through the night

✔️ Gentle to handle (even for things like eye drops!)

✔️ Quiet and easy going

She’s also working hard on feeling confident when left alone. Having another calm dog around seems to help her relax, but she could also thrive as an only dog in a calm, present home that can help her build that confidence.

🚗 Car Rides: Improving Every Day,

She’s not a road-trip junkie yet, but she’s trying. With a cozy pillow and some patience, she’s already gone from shaky to almost snoozing.

🌟 A Few Things She’s Working On.

Sandy doesn’t know many formal commands yet — she’s far too polite to assume she’s in charge! But she is treat-motivated and gentle, so a patient adopter can absolutely help her learn fun new skills. She’s also practicing staying calm during comings and goings, because excitement sometimes takes over when her person returns.

❤️ Who She’s Looking For.

Sandy would shine in a peaceful home with gentle people who appreciate quiet companionship and soft snuggles. She’d love:

A calm environment -

Another dog or a human who’s around more often -

Someone who enjoys slow walks, simple moments, and a whole lot of love -

While she has been good with children, she’d prefer a mellower home without the energy and unpredictability of young kids.

🎀 Why You’ll Fall for Her:

Sandy is the kind of dog who just melts into your life and makes everything softer, sweeter, and more peaceful. She adapts quickly, loves deeply, and will shower her new people with endless cuddles and quiet devotion.

If your home could use a little more calm, a lot more love, and a snuggly shadow who thinks you hung the moon… Sandy is your girl.

Go meet their pets

We do not host adoption events. We do bring some of our dogs to fundraisers to meet potential adopters who then must complete the full adoption process.

More about this rescue

We are a small foster based rescue who focuses on helping areas of overpopulation and dogs in desperate situations. We are run by dedicated volunteers and generally only have a handful of dogs in care at one time so we can focus on exactly what they need to feel better and find a loving home.
