My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Daisy is a sweet cocker spaniel who came to SFCR as a breeder release.

Daisy has done very well with her house and crate training. She’s such a happy girl and thrilled to be living in a home setting.

Daisy does have a mild heart murmur but no heart enlargement which is great. Just something to be aware of and monitor at regular check ups.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.

Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
