Pony is a fluffy, velvety soft, panther-like beauty with glowing honey-yellow eyes. She was discovered wandering alone with her tail between her legs, in one of our foster’s yards, hungry, malnourished, and terrified of people. At first, you could not get within a few feet of her without her running away.
Everything changed on a warm day in August when her finder was finally able to bring her indoors. Pony was unsure about humans at first, but she quickly appreciated the comforts of indoor life, including her own temperature-controlled bedroom, soft beds, and unlimited wet food and water.
Her foster parents spent time with her every single day, socializing her with patience and at her own pace. Pony began to flourish. She now craves human attention, seeks out pets, and loves interactive play. She has grown into an outgoing little angel. She is gentle, polite, and full of affection. When she plays, she gives soft paw taps, tiny love bites, and happily entertains herself with her toys, especially her favorite stuffed croissant.
She also love the company of the other cats in her foster home. She gets along with each of them. Pony would thrive in a home with another friendly cat or two and a human who can give her lots of love and engagement.
Pony is ready for her next chapter and excited to meet her future family.

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!
