Phoenix is a beautiful, energetic 1 year old, 12 pound Pom looking for her happily ever after! This girl takes a few days to settle in, but then it's snuggles, playtime, and her being silly. Phoenix does need a fenced yard as she isn't confident on a leash yet. She is house trained, crate trained, good in a car, good at the vet, and good with grooming. She does tend to prefer and play best with other small female dogs, but warms up to the boys with time and proper supervision. This girl is sure to capture everyone's heart wherever she goes, and is all vetted in time for a forever home! The $350 adoption donation ($250 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, spay, and all the love you can handle! Interview

We have a standard telephone interview that is conducted after an applicant passes our vet reference.

3.
Home Check

Homes are checked by an approved volunteer for safety, cleanliness, and ability to care for the new pet.

We do require all potential adopters to pass a vet reference. The applicant must have all current pets spayed or neutered, consistent vaccinations and yearly exams, as well as yearly heart worm prevention

Peace Love and Poms Rescue is not a shelter environment. All our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are treated like family until a forever home is found. This means all approved applicants will need to make an appointment with the foster pawrents to meet their potential new pet.
