Max is a purebred Australian Shepherd, approximately 18 months old. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots. We adopted Max one year ago as a companion for our other dog. We got him when he was 6mo old from a young couple who were rehoming him due to relocating.
We love Max very much, and he is the sweetest, most loving boy! We are sad to let him go, but in the last year, I have realized that he needs more dedicated personal attention and space than I can give him. I am a single parent of 3, I work full-time as well as 2 side part-time jobs. My home conducive to his size and energy level.
Max is a working dog and needs to have lots of interaction and personal attention to thrive. He is high energy, loves other dogs, people and kids. He is eager to please and very smart. Has been trained, but I have not kept up with it consistently and he will need refreshing. Behavior issues are mainly jumping/chewing - typical puppy behavior fixed with time/training.
