Meet Thomas the Train! 🚂🖤 Thomas is a sweet, shy black cat who’s ready for a fresh start and a patient human to help him shine. He doesn’t have experience with other animals, so slow and thoughtful introductions are a must if there are pets in the home. Thomas has lived with children before and could do well with calm, cat savvy kids who understand how to give him space as he settles in. He’s still learning to trust humans fully, but once he feels safe, his playful side comes out, he adores his scratching pad, track toy and any game that lets him zoom around like his namesake! Right now, shelter life has him feeling a little down and he’s more than ready for a quiet, loving home where he can decompress and blossom. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
