Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Missy has the most beautiful eyes, and when she focuses them on you, you feel like the most important person in the world. Missy is looking for her forever family who will be her people forever.
Missy has had a tough life - abandoned on the street, she was hit by a car, and her leg was so damaged that she needed an amputation. She developed a severe infection and mass in her ear, which also needed to be removed. When she first came to Cameron Animal Rescue she was weak and malnourished. But she has fought through all of those things, and she is healing well, and ready for her forever home.
Despite her tough start, Missy loves people. She loves being pet and cuddled, loves attention, and always wants to be near you. She is however, not a big fan of other animals - she is terrified of dogs and will attack them, and does not like other cats. We think that after all she's been through, she deserves to be the center of her new family's attention. She hasn't been tested with children; her response will likely vary depending on energy level.
Missy's hind leg was amputated following the accident, however that doesn't slow her down. She enjoys exploring new places - her motto is 'no cabinet unopened'! And she occasionally likes to play with toys. She is healthy; FeLV/FIV negative; spayed. Her adoption includes her full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; full fecal testing and prophylactic deworming; microchip; feline bartonella testing and treatment; 30 days of free pet insurance.
Missy will do best in a calm home, with a family who has lots of time to spend giving her the attention and company that she wants.
