My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kyra: The Velvet Panther with a Flair for Fashion

Do you dream of a kitten who’s equal parts snuggle bug, playtime tornado, and accidental fashion icon? Meet Kyra, a 4-month-old black-furred beauty with a coat so soft, you’ll wonder if she was spun from midnight clouds.

Kyra is sweet, smart, and has mastered the fine art of the purr-nado—a nonstop rumble of affection that kicks in the moment you scoop her up. She’ll snuggle just long enough to melt your heart, then dash off to tackle her next toy or wrestle her littermates like a tiny gladiator in a fur suit.

Her hobbies include:

- Zoomies with dramatic flair

- Purring like a tiny lawnmower

- Tolerating costumes with the patience of a saint (yes, she’s worn a spider outfit and didn’t file a complaint)

- Being the softest thing in your house, including your throw pillows

Kyra is a social butterfly with whiskers. She must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a cat companion.

If you’re ready for a kitten who’s got style, sweetness, and a whole lot of sass, Kyra’s waiting to pounce into your life—and your lap.

More about this rescue

Tenth Life's Mission:
Giving cats the lives they deserve.
At Tenth Life, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life.
We provide veterinary care, foster homes, and adoptive placement to stray cats and kittens, prioritizing those with special needs. We work to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness through educational outreach, community programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Only when a trusted veterinarian determines that a cat is in a state of incurable suffering, does Tenth Life relieve them of their pain through gentle and humane euthanasia. This difficult and thoughtful decision is never made in response to a lack of space, negative behaviors, or because a cat's medical needs are challenging or expensive.

To learn more about some of the cats we prioritize, visit our website, www.tenthlifecats.org. Thank you!
