What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This 9-month old playful boy was found in a feral colony in Portland back in early October with a cold (he quickly recovered with medication.) Since then, his personality has been coming out more every day. He loves playing and cuddling with other kitties and will thrive in a home with another cat. He purrs just from our older boy cat walking in the room.
Keanu is still quite shy with humans and will need a patient and loving family. That said, every week we see immense progress in his socialization. In fact, within the last month he went from scurrying into every corner to accepting and sometimes asking for human pets on his chin, head, and back. He is also highly food motivated and displays no sign of aggression towards humans or cats. We are happy to keep socializing this lovely kitty until he finds his forever home!
He will be ready to go to his furrever home after December 3, when he has been neutered and fully vaccinated. We are happy to meet & greet before then!
