My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snackpack
Speaking of snack packs, I am slightly on the chunky side at 12.2 pounds. I am a 5-year-old black-and-white DSH boy, already neutered and litter-box trained. My owner surrendered six of us cats on October 23 because she had too many animals. I have taken this move well, which indicates my personality is easy-going, laid-back, and friendly. I don`t let things get me down because I am a glass-half-full type of cat. Not long after arriving, I came down with an upper respiratory infection, for which the medical staff has been treating me with medications. They also noticed I had flea dirt in my coat. When the interviewer lady (IL) came to interview me, I was asleep on my bed. I immediately woke up when she opened my door. I pushed my head into her hand, and that was all she needed to begin petting me all over. I stretched out on my side to allow her to pet my throat and chest. I hung my head backwards out of bed so she could scratch my chin. It was clear to her that I was a charming cat, with lovely manners and a winning personality. I believe that I would fit into just about any cat-loving family. Can I set up an appointment to meet with you? 12-10-25

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
