If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Kia is an almost 4-year-old Pomsky originally adopted from Homeward Bound Shelter, and she’s an energetic, fun, and loving dog who thrives on activity and attention. She’s playful, affectionate, and would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her about 45 minutes of walking or exercise each day. Kia completed a two-week board-and-train program as a puppy and knows some basics, but she would benefit from continued house training and consistency, as she does occasionally pee on the living room carpet. She’s not the best fit for a home with a 1-year-old or very small children, and she would do best with someone who has the time and patience to give her structure, training, and love. We care about her deeply and want to find a safe, committed, and nurturing home where she can truly thrive. If you’re interested in meeting Kia or learning more about her, please reach out.
