My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB March 31, 2025

Alfredo is a kitten with the softest, sweetest temperament. He is gentle, calm, cuddly, and is happiest when curled up on his human. He and his brother Butter take turns claiming laps, or Alfredo will simply drape himself over his brother to reach his person.

Like his brother, Alfredo has zero manners - he will climb counters, closets, shelves, and anything that looks interesting. He’s curious, adventurous, and incredibly affectionate. Both boys are also voracious eaters.

Alfredo has been diagnosed with a grade IV heart murmur caused by a congenital defect; he will require daily medication that help slow its progression and reduce risks, and periodic heart check-ups (every 6 months). However, he is stable, playful, and full of energy, and he takes his meds easily when put in a capsule. He lives a normal, happy kitten life!

Alfredo and his brother Butter are bonded; they groom each other, nap together, and are upset when separated, so they must be adopted together.

Alfredo is a joyful goofball. He loves sprinting around the house and likes to get himself in various confusing trouble, such as getting stuck in the laundry drying rack.

Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $175 per cat.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee is $225 per adult cat, and $300 for kittens (under 8 months old).

This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $225.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $175 per cat vs. $225 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
