My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nina was surrendered along with her brother, Matheus, when their family had to move out of the country and couldn’t bring them along. Just a little over 2 years old, Nina is still trying to make sense of all the recent changes in her life. Shelter life is new and confusing for her, but she’s handling it with a gentle spirit and a big heart.

Despite everything, Nina continues to show how sweet and trusting she is. She’ll quietly come to the front of her kennel, hoping for a kind word or a soft touch, and she melts into pets as if she’s been waiting all day for that bit of affection. Her calm nature and tender personality make her easy to love, and it’s clear she longs for a home where she can feel secure again.

Nina would thrive with someone patient and loving—someone who can give her the stability she’s lost and the companionship she deeply enjoys. She deserves a second chance at a happy, peaceful life. Could you be the one to show her what “home” feels like again?
