History: 🧡 From Texas to Midwest 🤠—- A group of deserving dogs was recently welcomed as part of our Texas Transport Program! A program launched to make an impactful difference for our partner shelters in Texas facing the overpopulation of animals with limited resources and low adoption rates. We are excited to help these southern gems find loving forever homes to call their own!
A Note from the Foster: Arthur has really made me only want to foster senior dogs! He is an 8 year old cattle dog mix that has gone through more than any animal should. His previous owner passed away and Arthur arrives from Texas looking for a second chance. For such a sad past, you would never know Arthur has gone through hard times. Arthur has fit into our home and life seamlessly. He is incredibly chill and relaxed when you want him to be, and ready for adventure and playtime whenever you are! He loves a good walk and fetch. He also likes to train and is very food motivated, so old dogs can definitely learn new tricks! He is still working on crate training (he barks when left alone right now) but will sleep on his bed the entire time I’m gone. He has lived with other dogs before and does well, but as he has a higher prey drive, I’m not sure about cats. He loves his people and will settle in pressed against you as soon as you sit down. Who is ready to give Arthur a second chance?
