My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

History: Ray is a super handsome boy who was recently welcomed to rescue and will warm your heart with his smile and happy personality. He has his paws crossed to find his forever home soon!

A Note from the Foster: Ray, also known as Raymond, is a sweet 7 year old neutered mini poodle that came to us as a breeder release. Raymond has come out of his shell slowly and is hilarious! He gives you the side eye when he’s not getting his way, will talk to you when it’s time for supper, his daily zoomies make me giggle, and he has started playing with small stuffed toys. He has started living his best life but is waiting patiently for someone to spend the rest of his life with.

Raymond is potty trained when on a schedule. He gets two walks a day and is excellent on leash in his harness. We do have him on a special food that has helped with his reflux. He is on anxiety medication which has helped a lot in getting him settled. He is crated when I am at work, he does not like being in there and will tell you for a bit then will settle down. He is SO happy to see me when I come home he talks again telling me about his day. Because he does talk a lot I don’t think he would do well in a home with connecting walls. He sleeps with me on my bed all night. I have a 60 pound female labrador that he doesn’t mind being with, they mostly ignore each other. He loves meeting new people and dogs out on our walks. He is much more comfortable around women than men. He is my third leg when I am home so expect him to follow you around. His favorite place in the whole world is sitting on you or by you on the couch getting scratches. He loves getting tummy rubs! We have just started pulling out the blanket and he loves cuddling under that with me now.

He is just the sweetest thing!
