Ariyah is a charming, scruffy cattle dog mix with a heart as wide as the Texas sky she once wandered under. Found running stray in Texas and never picked up from the shelter there, she’s now ready for a fresh start and a family who will finally see just how special she is.
This girl has all the makings of a loyal companion: she gets along wonderfully with other dogs, has an eager-to-please spirit, greets life with a hopeful tail wag, and loves a good belly rub. She absolutely loves her toys, throwing them up in the air for herself to chase and fetch again. This girl is full of the joyful, fun-loving attitude that everyone needs in their life. Ariyah is especially excited to keep learning—she’s working on her leash skills and can’t wait to show off how quickly she picks things up with a little guidance and encouragement.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Animal Friends Alliance is a non-profit, adoption guarantee cat and dog shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic.
Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.
Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
