My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Adler, where the only thing bigger than those eyebrows of his, is his heart. This sweet boy may took a little time to warm up to new human friends, but once he feels safe and understood, he has blossomed into an affectionate, loving boy. He is the perfect balance of energy - always ready for adventures, but also happy lounging and chilling. Adler is looking for a calm home and would likely do well living with respectful children that understand his needs and boundaries.

Adler gets along wonderfully with other dogs, but tends to get along better with female dogs, and is a ball of excitement and play when he is around canine friends. With patience, kindness, and lots of treats Adler is sure to grow into the loving, loyal companion he’s meant to be. Come meet Adler today!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adoptable animals are located at our Taft Campus at 2200 N Taft Hill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or for more info call 970-484-8516.

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.

We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
