Lewey is a friendly, talkative foxhound who loves people and has a big, happy personality. He's playful, energetic, and always ready for a walk or a backyard adventure. He does well meeting new people, is gentle with kids he's met, and mostly just wants someone to chat with and hang out beside.
He gets along with other dogs as long as introductions are slow and calm, chases chickens, and pretty much ignores cats. Like many hounds, he's an athletic guy with lots of energy, so he'll thrive with a family who can give him room to run and a routine that keeps both his mind and legs busy. He's sensitive to loud noises during deer season and he's still learning some basic manners, but he's a sweet dog who genuinely wants to connect and do well.
