We adopted Raya through a foster family we connected with on the internet. We made several house visits while she grew to 3 months then brought her home. Raya is 3 and a half years old. We are looking for a new home for Raya that can provide the care she needs. She is a cuddly, talkative, energetic young cat. Raya is very food motivated, which is a shame for her because she has a sensitive stomach and, as a result, has a strict diet of Purina Pro plan wet food. We believe her fixation on food may be the result of boredom, since we live in a smaller apartment and don’t have any other pets or children. This also causes Raya to be apprehensive to guests. Instead of hiding, she is curious and likes to remain with people to inspect them; however, she will give a warning hiss or growl to make sure no one comes near. Despite this, Raya is an affectionate cat to her owners and warms up to new comers after some time.
