Meet Joey — a total sweetheart with a heart full of love. Joey is a true cuddle bug who adores snuggling and being close to his people. He’s happiest just hanging out nearby, whether that’s napping in the living room or settling down in the same room at bedtime. Gentle and calm, Joey is not easily startled by noise or visitors and doesn’t jump up on people, making him a wonderful fit for a family home, even one with small children. He loves attention, enjoys cozy naps, and thrives as a devoted house dog who simply wants to be part of everyday life.

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
