If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Charlie will be three years old in April. I’ve had him since he was a year old, and he has grown into an affectionate dog with a big personality. He loves toys, car rides, and being close to his person; he’s definitely a velcro-type dog who likes to stay by your side.
He hasn’t been around other animals and has only been around two children, so he may need slow introductions in a new environment. He knows sit, shake, and wait for his food, and he is not food aggressive. He is house trained, crate trained, and we are currently working on leash training.
It breaks my heart to rehome him, and it’s very important to me that he goes to the best home possible; a place where he will be be safe, cared for, and understood. I will be sending his crate, crate mat, bed, toys, harness, and leash with him.
