Meet Tara!
Tara is a precious 6-month-old, 10.5-pound terrier mix with a gentle heart and the sweetest spirit. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up and show her affectionate, playful side.
This adorable girl gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to help boost her confidence. Tara is still working on her housebreaking skills, but she’s young, eager to learn, and making progress every day.
If you’re looking for a loving, soft-souled pup to grow with, Tara is ready to wiggle her way into your home and heart!
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until her puppy cuteness wears off.
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, she may chew on anything within her reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc.
Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.
Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references.
Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
