Meet Merry!
Merry is a wonderful little dog with a sweet, loving personality. She is mostly potty trained and will go to the door when she needs to go outside—she may have an accident if her cues are missed, but she’s learning quickly. Since she’s not a big fan of cold weather, she happily wears her cozy sweaters to stay warm.
Merry sleeps soundly in her kennel at night and stays in a playpen while her foster is at work. She may bark a bit when meeting new people, but she warms up fast and is eager to be held and cuddled. She absolutely loves laps, enjoys playing with her stuffies, and would likely thrive in a home with another small dog to keep her company.
Merry does show interest in chasing cats, so a cat-free home would be best. She hasn’t been around young children yet, so her compatibility with little kids is unknown, but she has adored all the adults she has met—she even fell asleep in her foster’s lap at Thanksgiving dinner!
Overall, Merry is a delight and would make a loving companion, especially in a home where she has another dog buddy and plenty of affection and playtime.
Merry is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
