Cornbread is an adorable 3-month-old male kitten filled with energy and personality. Alongside his three siblings, Cornbread was left at the front door of our rescue inside a sealed tub—taped shut, with just enough food and water but no air holes. Thankfully, our caring staff discovered them quickly and brought them to safety. The previous owner left a note, reassuring us that these kittens are not only well-behaved but also possess wonderful personalities.
Since arriving, Cornbread and his siblings have shown themselves to be incredibly outgoing, playful, and full of life. They love to explore and entertain, bringing joy to everyone they meet. With Thanksgiving approaching, this festive group will be ready to find loving homes just in time for the holiday season. We are located in Priest River right on the main highway (Highway 2) and attend as many adoption events as we can each year. We have several fund raisers and you can learn about them on our website

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
