My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Nutmeg, a Frenchie terrier mix who is ready for a loving home where she can continue to grow and thrive. Nutmeg came into rescue unsure of the world and needing time, patience, and gentle encouragement. With calm handling and a safe environment, she has begun to show her truly sweet and affectionate nature. Nutmeg is crate-trained and making steady progress with housetraining. She can be nervous in new places or when meeting new people and dogs, but once she feels safe, she connects deeply and becomes incredibly loving. She does well with other dogs after proper introductions and time to adjust. She is curious about cats, though still learning how she feels about them. Nutmeg enjoys car rides and is starting to love her walks, though new sounds or unfamiliar dogs and people can still worry her. She is a sensitive girl with a big heart who just needs a patient adopter willing to guide her gently. With understanding, reassurance, and love, Nutmeg will blossom into a devoted and loyal companion who adores her family.
