My name is Leo. I was born outside and was trapped and boy was I angry. Now, I cannot remember why. I LOVE being a house cat. My favorite things are wrestling with my brother, playing with wand toys and chasing pom poms, climbing up on my foster moms lap and getting lots of pets. I also like to monitor the neighborhood and relax in a window. I need to know what's going on. I also love snacks. I will never turn one away. I do not care about dogs if they leave me alone. I would love a cat friend but would be ok alone if your home to hang out with me.

When you find an animal you are interested in adopting submit an adoption application. The application will ask for basic information about you and your household, as well as your experience with pet ownership.
If your application is approved, you will be notified and a meet and greet scheduled where the adoption fees will be paid in full and the adoption contract signed.
Take your new pet home! The staff member will provide you with instructions on how to care for your new pet and will answer any questions you have.
Please note that the Audrain Humane Society may require additional steps in the adoption process, such as a home visit or a reference check.
